Dawn Frick

Dawn Frick is a 1997 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law and has been with Surdyk, Dowd & Turner since 2002. Mrs. Frick is a trial lawyer and represents clients in both state and federal courts and before the EEOC, OCRC, ODJFS and SERB. In addition, she advises clients on personnel matters and practices involving discipline, Family Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VII. Mrs. Frick works with employers in developing and revising personnel policies and procedures and provides training on various employment matters. Mrs. Frick also has extensive experience advising political subdivisions, including Townships on matters relating to general governance, employment, police practices, public records, civil rights claims and zoning issues. Mrs. Frick serves as Beavercreek Township’s and Harrison Township’s general counsel and in litigation matters through its membership in OTARMA. Additionally, Mrs. Frick represents Ross Township, Butler County as general counsel and in litigation matters.
