Surdyk, Dowd & Turner is a litigation firm which handles all types of litigation matters.  We understand that each case and each client are unique and that litigation can be a significant disruption and a drain on resources.  The experience and knowledge of our attorneys help to guide clients through the uncertainty of litigation to reach the best possible result.

Our lawyers represent clients in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate level and before administrative bodies and arbitration panels.   Our practice covers a full range of litigation matters that individuals, governmental bodies and companies encounter.  Our attorneys are experienced in handling cases involving personal injury defense, construction claims, class action and multi-party litigation, civil rights litigation, municipal and police liability, premises liability, professional liability, contractual disputes, product liability, construction matters, fire damage, employment, intentional torts, and libel/slander/defamation cases.  As always, our goal is to keep our clients well informed so that they understand all of the issues involved in their case and feel confident in the way their case is being handled. 

Our practice also is dedicated to providing insurers the services they need in all types of litigation and coverage issues.  We have extensive experience in handling matters stemming from insurance coverage and contract disputes in the context of both public and private entities.  We regularly handle claims for uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage and have a strong working knowledge of the setoffs available statutorily and contractually.  We are also prepared to provide insight and advice for bad faith claims and subrogation recovery.
